Brazil Iron Ore Exports Up 18% Y-o-Y in Oct’17

Recent trade statistics released by Brazil Customs show that the country has exported around 35.26 MnT iron ore in Oct’17 up by 18% Y-o-Y as it was 30 MnT in Oct’16. Brazil iron ore exports were up by 10% M-o-M against  31.93 MnT in Sept’17.

Vale’s iron ore exports up 8% M-o-M in Oct’17 – Vale, the world’s largest iron ore producer exported around 84% of iron ore via sea route of the total Brazil exports.

In Oct’17, Vale’s export has increased by 8% to 30.26 MnT iron ore via sea route against 28.1 MnT in Sept’17. Other major exporting companies in Oct’17 were  CSN (2.7 MnT), Anglo American (1.57 MnT).
