Although all specialty steel exhibitions have been postponed all over the world due to COVID-19, prominent role of steel in the development of Iran\u2019s economy been considered.
Accordingly, the 12th International Exhibition of Metallurgy, Steel, Casting, Machinery and Related Industries was held in Isfahan province-Iran to promote various steel-related markets as one of the most important and valuable industries in the country, Mines and Metals learned.
According to the exhibition holders, some companies and their delegates from China, Turkey, Germany, France and Italy participated at the Isfahan Steel Exhibition and will try to establish trade relations with Iranian companies.
In this regard, Mr Keyvan Jafari Tehrani, senior International Steel and Iron ore market analyst said:\u201d More than 100 companies participated in the exhibition to exchange information, and 78 companies have exhibitors to present their products. While the presence of participants in such a situation where the economy is in recession and COVID-19 has hindered the development of many economic activities, it is very important that different industries in steel field participate in.\u201d
Steel industry participants meet each other

\u201cThe main international exhibitions in steel field in the Asian region have always been held in China and in Europe in Germany so far, because these countries are known as the main hub of steel producers in the world. In fact, all similar exhibitions in Steel industry have been delayed from February 2020, when COVID-19 outbreak began in Asia, until the middle of this year and then in current year Q4, and may even be postponed again. Meanwhile, holding this exhibition in Iran at this level is promising for the steel industry as well as the country\u2019s economy.\u201d, this Senior analyst also stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
