Australia is the world’s largest Iron ore exporter. According to the vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint, Australia\u2019s iron ore export has decreased by 5% M-o-M to 71.43 MnT in\u00a0Oct 17\u00a0compared to 74.80 MnT in Sep\u201917.
\nCountry-wise Australia iron ore Export For\u00a0Oct\u201917:
\nChina recoded highest imports from Australia in Oct\u201917 with 84% share. However it showed a decline of 5% M-o-M to 59.88 MnT in Oct\u201917 as compared to Sept\u201917 which stood at 62.9 MnT. Japan stood the second highest importer of Australian iron ore with 8.4% share in Oct\u201917, up 5% M-o-M to 5.99 MnT as against 5.72 MnT in Sep\u201917, followed by Korea (4.35 MnT) and Taiwan(0.49 MnT).<\/p>\n

Port-Wise\u00a0Australia Export\u00a0 For Oct\u201917:
\nHeadland was largest iron ore exporting port from Australia with 56% share .It was down 7% M-o-M to 40.28 MnT in Oct\u201917 against 43.38 MnT iron ore in Sep\u201917. Followed by Walcott with 24% share of iron ore export, up 2% M-o-M to 16.97 MnT in Oct\u201917 compared to 16.59 MnT in Sep\u201917.Country-Wise Australia iron ore Export For Jan-Oct\u201917:
\nChina recorded highest share of exports from Australia for the duration of Jan-Oct\u201917 with 82.54% share at 570.39 MnT, followed by Japan with 61.44 MnT and Korea at 38.75 MnT.
