{"id":1845,"date":"2017-11-08T11:25:22","date_gmt":"2017-11-08T11:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kjtehrani.com\/en\/?p=1845"},"modified":"2017-11-08T11:25:22","modified_gmt":"2017-11-08T11:25:22","slug":"brazil-billet-exports-rise-sharply-recorded-highest-in-october-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kjtehrani.com\/en\/brazil-billet-exports-rise-sharply-recorded-highest-in-october-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazil Billet Exports Rise Sharply &#038; Recorded Highest in October 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brazil, the world\u2019s second-largest Semi finished exporter, has exported about 890,000 MT Billets in October 2017 which was the highest volume in CY17, recent released data by Brazilian customs reported.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the month of October\u201917, the\u00a0exports\u00a0have increased sharply by 67.92% M-o-M against 530,000 MT in Sep\u201917 &amp; 85.42% Y-o-Y against 480,000 MT in Oct\u201916.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Coming to total\u00a0exports\u00a0in CY2017 (Jan-Oct), the data shows about 6.30 MnT\u00a0billet\u00a0exports, surged by 24.50% against 5.06 MnT in the same preceding CY2016.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Further, on yearly calculation the\u00a0billet\u00a0exports\u00a0were reported around 6.25 MnT in CY2016 &amp; at 6.90MnT in CY2015.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the increase of steel demand globally, the crude steel production of country was marked at 30.21 MnT in 2016. Meanwhile, in 2017 (Jan\u201917-Sep\u201917) the figure of crude steel production stood at 25.50 MnT<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Country wise:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During October 2017, United States has imported approximately 29% (0.26 MnT) billets from\u00a0Brazil. Inline the other largest importer of Brazilian originated\u00a0billet\u00a0was Turkey (0.21 MnT) &amp; Germany (0.09 MnT).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the month, the major export of Billets were from the ports of Vitoria (0.42 MnT), Rio De Janeiro (0.23 MnT) &amp;Pecem (0.21).
