{"id":1458,"date":"2017-09-10T04:48:04","date_gmt":"2017-09-10T04:48:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kjtehrani.com\/en\/?p=1458"},"modified":"2017-09-10T04:48:04","modified_gmt":"2017-09-10T04:48:04","slug":"brazil-iron-ore-export-up-marginally-in-aug-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kjtehrani.com\/en\/brazil-iron-ore-export-up-marginally-in-aug-17\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazil Iron Ore Export Up Marginally in Aug&#8217; 17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recent trade statistics released by Brzil Customs show that the country has exported around 32.1 MnT iron ore in Aug&#8217;17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Brazil iron ore exports were up by 1% M-o-M against 31.8 MnT in July&#8217; 17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However the exports were down by 7% Y-o-Y for the month of Aug which were at 34.5 MnT in Aug&#8217;16 as per the SteelMint Research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Monthly average iron ore export price up by 4%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The average export price for Brazilian iron ore was up in Aug&#8217;16 and was around USD 39.1\/MT, FoB Brazil, up by USD 1.5\/MT from Jul&#8217;17 as it was USD 37.6\/MT, FoB Brazil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However Y-o-Y, average export prices rose by USD 2.7\/MT against USD 36.4\/MT, FOB Brazil in Aug&#8217; 16.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vale accounted for 85% share in Brazilian iron ore exports in Aug&#8217;17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to data provided by lachcape Shipping Services, Brazil, &#8211; the country exported 34.13 MnT iron ore via sea route.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vale, the world&#8217;s largest iron ore producer exported around 85% of iron ore via sea route of the total exports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In Aug17, the miner exported 27.2 MnT iron ore via sea route, CSN &#8211; 3.4 MnT, Anglo American &#8211; 1.3 MnT and Trafiguara &#8211; 0.2 MnT.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-1459 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/kjtehrani.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/16-4.jpg\" alt=\"16\" width=\"574\" height=\"427\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Source Steel Mint powered by Keyvan Jafari Tehrani (JTC)<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recent trade statistics released by Brzil Customs show that the country has exported around 32.1 MnT iron ore in Aug&#8217;17.
