Iran’s Bulk Billet Export Rises by 10% in Sep’17- Vessel Line up Data

As per vessel line up data maintained with SteelMint, Iran an emerging steel producer country has witnessed rise in its bulk Billet Exports in Sep’17. The country exported 273,500 MT bqu Billet in Sep’17 against 247,500 MT bulk Billet exports in Aug’17. The rise of 10% M-o-M has seen in its exports in Sep’17 against bulk Billet exported in Aug’17.

UAE’s Bulk Billet imports more than doubled from Iran in Sept’17 – United Arab Emirates emerged as the largest importer for bqu Billet exports from Iran in Sept’17. UAE imported 70,000 MT bulk Billet, up by 103% against 34,500 MT Billet-imports in Aug’17. In line with-this, Indonesia imported 70,000 MT bulk Billet which was nil in Aug’17. Other major importers for Iran’s bulk billet were Sudan (35,000 MT), Oman (28,500 MT) and Jordan (20,000 MT) respectively in Sept’17.

During two months period Aug-Sept’17, Iran exported total 521,000 MT bulk Billet. UAE imported highest 104,500 MT bulk Billets from Iran occupying 20% share of total bulk Billet exports followed by other major importers Oman (82,500 MT), Indonesia (70,000 MT), Thailand (45,000 MT) and Sudan (35,000 MT) respectively.

India imported 10,000 MT bulk Billet from Iran in Auq’17.
