Important News; The first National Symposium of Industry 4 in the Steel Industry was held with the Artificial Intelligence (AI) approach
On Oct. 16, the above symposium was held in the International Conference Center of IRIB (Tehran) in partnership with the country’s prestigious universities, research institutes and knowledge-based centers, science and technology parks and steel companies.
Keyvan Jafari Tehrani in two speeches at the opening ceremony and the specialized panel, while familiarizing those interested in artificial intelligence algorithms, compared the countries of the world in the application of artificial intelligence in the steel industry, noting that we have a long way to go, but we should not be disappointed.
He announced that for the first time in Iran and the world, under his supervision, a team of Iranian and foreign scientists is planning and designing the algorithm of the iron ore market analyst. The start of this specialized team on the above program was from March 2023 coincides with the beginning of 1402 and announced the launch and presentation of this algorithm to the market is in March 2024, adding that so far we have made good progress in this field, but we have had to use a new technique beyond technical and fundamental analysis to design this algorithm.
If the algorithm succeeds, he said, we will redesign it to analyze the steel market and other commoditities. The algorithm is able to use the input information in all social networks and the Internet, including all the big and small news, including natural disasters, wars, etc., which affect the decrease and increase of supply and demand in the iron and steel market directly and indirectly, and provide intelligent output.
Keyvan Jafari Tehrani said this is perhaps the biggest challenge of my life that after 36 years of direct work experience, I am taking this important step. We may not even succeed until the end of this journey, but I am sure that even then the Iranian and global market will respect my challenge to the most effective application of artificial intelligence in market analysis.
